DSR Professional Training was established in 2011 to bridge the gap between skills acquired at educational institutions and those required by the business community of the United Arab Emirates. The
center was founded by Durdana Saiyid Rizvi, who taught business at the Dubai Men's College for over a decade. Our programs are designed on the basis of an extensive need-analysis of Dubai's fast paced and growing business community.

Our goal is to develop human capital amongst both Emirati and expatriate communities in order to bridge the skills gap and reduce unemployment.

DSR is proud to be a partner in learning of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). We assist students in achieving the ICAEW’s Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB), the Business and Finance Professional (BFP) designation, and the full Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification.

Additionally, DSR is a proud Silver Learning Partner of ACCA, providing training for all Foundation Level exams of the ACCA qualification to corporate clients.

As of 2021, we have graduated 102 full ICAEW chartered accountants, of whom 11 are Emirati.

Our knowledgeable team also offers corporate training, both bespoke and international certificate programs. We offer Finance for Non-Finance Managers and Diversity Training for businesses seeking to Emiratize successfully. We also offer ACA corporate training in-house and at our premises. 


The “Learning Majlis” 
DSR aims to be more than just a training center. We believe that all learning should be fun, and that even difficult subjects like accounting can be taught in an engaging way. Though we all come from different walks of life, over time our students and team make lasting friendships. DSR is a home away from home. Our goal is to make our students want to come back, long after their classes have finished. We constantly strive to find new and interesting subjects to share with our students. We think of ourselves as a “Learning Majlis” – a place to hang out, exchange views and, of course, learn. We hope you’ll join us at our Learning Majlis soon!
